- Next Drive EV off-peak tariff rate tracking
- Fixed tariff support
- Historical pricing data
- Smart charging optimisation based on E.ON Next rates
Requirements
- 1.An active E.ON Next account
- 2.The email address you use to log in to E.ON Next
- 3.Your E.ON Next online account password
Setup Instructions
1Confirm your login details
Make sure you can log in at eonnext.com with your email address and password. If you have forgotten your password, reset it on the E.ON Next website before connecting to OhmMy.
2Connect in OhmMy
Go to Settings > Energy Provider > E.ON Next. Enter your E.ON Next email address and password, then click "Connect E.ON Next".
3Automatic tariff detection
OhmMy will log in to the E.ON Next API on your behalf, retrieve your account information, and automatically detect your current tariff and rates.
4Verify your connection
Your connected tariff will appear under Connected Tariffs on the Energy Provider settings page. If you are on Next Drive, your off-peak rate windows will be visible on the Tariff page.
Important Notes
- E.ON Next requires your account email and password to connect — unlike some providers, E.ON Next does not offer a separate API key. OhmMy uses these credentials only to fetch your tariff data.
- Your password is encrypted using AES-256 before being stored. It is never held in plain text and is not visible to OhmMy staff.
- E.ON Next uses the Kraken platform (the same technology that powers Octopus Energy), so the underlying API structure is very similar.
- This integration is read-only — OhmMy reads your tariff data but does not make any changes to your E.ON Next account.
- If you change your E.ON Next password, you will need to reconnect in OhmMy Settings.
