January 2026 Release Notes

Happy New Year! We've been busy over the holidays shipping improvements. Here's everything new in the January 2026 release.

New: GivEnergy Integration

We're thrilled to announce full support for GivEnergy systems, including:

• Real-time monitoring of battery, solar, and grid
• Historical data import from your GivEnergy portal
• Control features for charge/discharge scheduling
• EV charger support for GivEnergy EV chargers

Setting Up GivEnergy

1. Go to Settings > Integrations > Add New
2. Select GivEnergy
3. Enter your API key (found in the GivEnergy portal under Account > API)
4. OhmMy will auto-detect your devices

Improved Charts

We've completely rebuilt our charting system:

What's New

• Smoother animations when switching time periods
• Touch-friendly zoom and pan on mobile
• Stacked views for solar/battery/grid breakdown
• Export to CSV for any chart
• Comparison mode to overlay different days

Performance

Charts now load faster thanks to:

• Incremental data loading
• Client-side caching
• Optimized render cycles

Dark Mode Refinements

Based on your feedback, we've refined the dark theme:

• Better contrast for accessibility
• Softer backgrounds to reduce eye strain
• Consistent glow effects across all components
• Improved chart colors for dark backgrounds

• New "Quick Actions" panel for common tasks
• Weather widget now shows solar forecast
• Drag-and-drop card reordering
• Customizable date range picker

Integrations

• Tesla token refresh is now more reliable
• SolarEdge data sync improved for large systems

Bug Fixes

• Fixed: Charts sometimes showed wrong timezone
